Health workers from across facilities filled the hall for a day of practical, hands-on learning on how to recognise, respond to and safely refer emergency patients.
What participants covered
- Triage and resuscitation principles
- Recognising deterioration and acting immediately after recognition
- High-quality chest compressions and bag-valve-mask ventilation on adult and infant manikins
- Safe referral: stabilise, communicate, hand over
Every participant rotated through supervised CPR stations, with facilitators giving one-to-one feedback.
