Call the ambulance? Know what to say!
When you call for help, remember to:
✅ STAY CALM and speak clearly.
📍 GIVE YOUR EXACT LOCATION and nearby landmarks.
🩺 DESCRIBE THE EMERGENCY — what happened and the patient’s condition.
❤️ REPORT THE PATIENT’S STATUS — are they conscious and breathing?
📞 GIVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER and stay on the line.
👂 FOLLOW THE DISPATCHER’S INSTRUCTIONS until help arrives.
At the Charles Amissah Emergency Care Foundation Ghana, we believe that emergency preparedness starts with YOU.
